An Essential Part of Money Making - Traffic to Your Site

If you want to make a little extra income a month, head to my posts below for informative reviews with payment proof about both Paid to Sign-Up and Paid to Click sites.

However, if you want to eventually make pretty substantial income online, the best way is to make your own website, and get into business yourself. Sites can assist you with this money making, but I will try some of those later. The most important thing to do initially is to gain traffic to your site. You can't make any money if people don't see your site in the first place.

Get Traffic to Your Site

Step 1 - Make a Site:
First off, make a website for yourself. You can use webs.com, blogger.com, or weebly.com to make a free website, or you can pay some service and get your own url.

Step 2 - Join Some Traffic Exchanges:
Traffic Exchanges are a great way to gain some initial traffic to your site. You look at other people's sites, and in return, they look at your's. Remember, you want actual visitors, so only join manual surf exchanges. In terms of which manual traffic exchange to go to, there are just too many to list here. I have found one site, however; that has almost all working manual surf exchanges listed, with opportunities for you to get tons of referrals.
This site is called TrafficTornado. The site has almost every manual surf exchange listed, so you can surely find at least one or two that fit you best. Also, if you refer members to TrafficTornado, when they choose to join one of the numerous traffic exchanges, they will refer under you, gaining you even more traffic. The use of manual surf exchanges can definitely help you to gain some quality, residual traffic to your site.

Step 3 - Join Some Directories:
Another great tools to utilize is directories. Directories don't give you the same volume of traffic as manual surf exchanges, but they do give you better quality traffic. Directories are generally very simple, as all you have to do is submit your site in an appropriate category. Interested visitors will eventually find your site.
My favorite directory is LinkReferral, as you can improve your ranking in the directory by simply visiting others sites and reviewing them.

Step 4 - Utilize the Traffic:
Once you get all this traffic, you will need to do something to sustain and utilize the traffic. Put on some useful content, and your site will keep on gaining traffic.
